In 1993, our start up counted two on staff – founder Maureen Fritch and one union carpenter. Maureen began her general contracting career renovating and re-selling houses.
Projects with the New York City School Construction Authority (NYCSCA) changed everything, pushing us to provide a broad scope of services and a different scale of work. In a short time, the firm grew to include office and field personnel.
Today we number 15 and are growing. This growth would not have been possible without the support of the NYCSCA’s Mentor Program and its outstanding Business Development Department led by Robin Wilcox, Director, and Michael Garner, Senior Director of Business Development.
Seeing an opportunity to extend the business’ reach and better serve clients, in 2004, Maureen partnered with Master Electrician Igor Bron to open E. Electrical Contracting, LLC. This separate but related firm bills more than $6 million annually and employs a 30-person staff.
